I went way back in time today and it may explain a lot. Everyone knows that green is one of my favorite colors. I’ll make this quick.
My 91 year old aunt took me in back when I was younger when my mom was struggling to raise 5 kids with no father.
I received a call the other day telling me that she fell and broke her hip.
The doctor said she will be confined to a wheelchair from now on.
Well I made a trip to her house to see if I could do some renovations for her so she can get around with the wheelchair. I will be removing all of the carpet and install new vinyl plank.
As I was taking measurements I decided to check the bathroom door opening for wheelchair clearance and BAM!!!!! There it was, this is where my obsession with the color green began. It has to be. Wow!!!!!

Hope your aunt heals quickly & a full/speedy recovery

Floats valves must be working OK, the bowl looks about half full. :poke:

Yeah we had that color in our house in Concord Cobblestone Ct.
when I was a kid (like 7-14), bathrooms, throw carpets & kitchen appliances too
my bedroom was painted a chartreuse color, by my choice, greens shag carpet too

I've always liked greens, maybe that's why ?
Almost Avocado....wonder what code it is? F5 maybe :)

Time for a color change. Petty blue.

Want to see something funny?
Look up what your standard Home Depot toilet costs.
Now look up what a "custom color" green/blue/beige/whatever costs.

You can get new, solid brass, natural rubber seals, designed to fit new hardware for the tank online.

Is it Kohler? My house had a show/tub and toilet just like that when we moved in. Except the shower was too far gone to patch back up and I was NOT paying for a custom green replacement surround. It cost less to replace the entire shower/tub then buy the surround!

I have a sky blue version downstairs. Huge tank, california water police would feint. I will NEVER get rid of it, I despise new toilets, I am not a small man and the new ones even with elongated bowl I feel like I am precariously perched on there.

By the way, harvest gold and avocado green both came back, BIG TIME, into style not too long ago. Not like it used to be, hard to compete with sterile, boring flat white cabinetry LOL. But younger home seekers like the bright colors. It is all new to them.

Sorry to hear about your aunt. That's tough. If you think avocado is bad, I worked in a house about 30+ years ago that had a lime green toilet and sink.

On a related note, if the green toilet is staying, you should get her a case of this .....

I'd say it's a true survivor, only used by a little old lady.
