Was wondering where you were no updates for a looooonnng time.
It's Alive! Did my first testrun just now, although only first gear..Just checking in.
How's my favorite Swedish Charger doing?
WOW looks great!! More pictures and or a video. It's Alive! Did my first testrun just now, although only first gear..
Some kinks here and there to sort out but I'm very close to get it roadworthy and get those number plates on it.

Is the speedo pinion adapter installed per the tooth ranges cast on the face? So, finally got my car registered. Been doing some shakedown drives lately to sort out some bugs. The speedometer doesn't work? It reacts on the bench when I twist a screwdriver where the wire goes but maybe something is off in the gearbox or the cable is broken?
Some wiring issues still, the horn doesn't work, probably not a big thing to sort.
Pulled out the cluster to check all gauges again, all is good now but the new fuel sensor doesn't seem to work?
Brakes, I don't like the feel of the beake, requires a lot of pressure on the pedal, maybe find a master cylinder with smaller bore? Any ideas what big brake brembos require?
Parking brake is very poor, found some flex in the steel plate holding the rear cables. Will try and add support there.

Thanks for the input. Can you elaborate on the "speedo pinion adapter"? Could you send me a link to some info maybe? Is the speedo pinion adapter installed per the tooth ranges cast on the face?
Do you have a good ground at the fuel sender?
Mike
Thanks, the stripe was a trial, waiting for the real one. Going to give it a polish first.i had an issue with too big a bore on master cylinder also, with willwood brake calipers before smaller piston did solve it, see you lost the hemi stripe on the back quarter.
Check out this post:Thanks for the input. Can you elaborate on the "speedo pinion adapter"? Could you send me a link to some info maybe?
Good ground at the sender, I was aware of this issue from others and was very thorough when doing that part.
Well, all sorted out, the speedo is now working, turns out it works a lot better if you actually install a speedo pinion before installing the speedo cable! Embarrassing, I know.. I calculated I needed a 32-pin pinion and luckily my dad found one during a treasure hunt in the garage shelves. I clocked the adapter accordingly making sure the 32-38 mark got angled towards 6 o'clock. Thanks for the input. Can you elaborate on the "speedo pinion adapter"? Good progress!Well, all sorted out, the speedo is now working, turns out it works a lot better if you actually install a speedo pinion before installing the speedo cable! Embarrassing, I know.. Working on other stuff, like no parking light in the rear, had to add some semi-conductors to get the led's to light up on without sending 12V "backwards" to the front headlights. Only had one 12v diode but the concept works fine.
The horn is also working now, I had it wired correctly just had to fiddle around with the button some. Not 100% finished with it, it's a tight fit since I've shorted down the steering wheel adapter to a minimum. But it's doable.
The number plates arrived and are fitted, did a custom bracket in aluminum for the front to get the plate snug and fit where I want it.
The emergency brake will not get approved, turns out the Swedish standards for how much force they should hold up differs from US standards. the SSBC rear brakes doesn't hold up good enough. I'll try and tighten everything as much as I can and also add some more support to the steel plate holding the 2 rear cables. it has some flex in it now and getting rid of that is the first step.
Not much else to do before I can take it in for the vehicle safety inspection to be able to fully ensure it and drive it around for real.. looking forward to that.
