Mr. Insurance adjuster... I was driving merrily along in the desert. All of a sudden... ZOOM ! A road runner zoomed right past me. Then, some coyote jumped in my truck and took control of the steering wheel to chase that road runner...before I knew it, he sent us flying in the air and we flipped-over and crashed. I looked outside my upside-down window to see the feet of that road runner standing next to the crashed truck. I heard a sound like "blip-blip... meep-meep" and he zoomed away !!

In 1969, after seeing Bullitt, I jumped my '59 Plymouth Sport Suburban! The 2 girls with me weren't wearing seat belts and hit their heads on the roof! The worst was blowing out the bottom of the oil pan. Mom, Dad, I hit this big pothole! One time the car was up on a lift and the bottom of the frame was all scraped up and Dad says "Must've been one hell of a pothole"!

Why does everyone that buys one of these or TRX truly believe they have a Pro4 or trophy truck desert racer? I couldn't imagine paying over six figures to destroy it like that.

I'll post a car jumping story....
Many years ago a friend who due to being injured himself asked me to drive his Opel GT rally car and he would be navigator.
Having some off road and plenty of open class MX I agreed. We had went out on the backroads and spent some hours
allowing me to get used to the car and things felt pretty good.
Some of the gravel back roads had rail road tracks built way up where they crossed the roads....
Took about 3-4 test "hops" then took a couple of passes at what would be race speed and things worked ok.
Decided to do ....just one more..... got a little crossed up, made the mistake of lifting and ended up nose low into
a small muddy ditch.
Yup... up side down, sliding through about a foot of water, mud, and cattails. Blew out front and rear windows that were
both plexiglass filling the car with stinking swamp mix and trying not to drown. We both had the 5 point harness on
and ended up hanging from the seats spitting out swamp mud. Walked about 1/4 mile to the closest house and asked them to call
a tow truck.....it and the local police both showed up.
Told the cop mostly the truth about what happened, he turned out to be a pretty nice guy after we got talking a bit
and I didn't get a ticket.
Opel wasn't so lucky but the belts and cage all did the job, other than bruises from the belts and some general
overall soreness we both were fine. Mike did need to get a new cast for his broken arm the next day,
what ever was in that ditch/swamp STUNK!
I bought about $500 worth of Hella rally lights and about $400-$500 worth of other stuff to help fix the Opel.

GHEEE!!! I own and drive Fords and I ain't like that. Plus I have a big ol' 4X4 F150 and rarely take it off road. So don't group me in with that rediculous statement...cr8crshr/Bill

Well hopefully he doesn’t turn that in to insurance. Off road racing in a street pickup. If he does I hope somebody at insurance company sees the video and denies claim. We all end up paying for his stupidity if they pay out.
I did perfect the hertz rental car Lincoln town car getting air after crossing over the railroad tracks in Cleveland Ohio a long time ago.
