I went to buy some tools from a person today and they had a few Mopar parts laying there. A nice clean set of 452 heads supposedly removed from a lower mile 440 police car, rocker shafts, rockers, and valve covers. I told this elderly person that I would see if anyone here on the forum was interested. They are in the Lansing MI area. I can make this happen if someone needs them. I think she would take 250 for everything but you never know!

Iron heads appeal to two types of people. CHEAP dudes and guys that are obligated to use them for specific racing classes.
If someone is willing to pay even $100 for these heads, I'd be surprised. They are not rare and not hard to find. They are basically cores that would need to be gone through to be trusted. The cost to rebuild cast iron heads gets close to the cost of aluminum heads from The 440 Source.
Good luck but I don't see these selling for $250.

If I can get an absolute perfect looking pair of 452 heads I might pay $100 for them, only because it saves time and money getting them clean.

I would just toss the valves and all of the valvetrain. Might keep the shafts if they aren't wore, but all the rest goes.

Oddly enough most BBM iron heads have little value and few buyers. Guess everyone wants aluminum nowadays.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll let her know that they aren't very desirable. Her husband passed away and she is just trying to get rid of the last few things.
