Sundays......

I get lonely, trust me. Some things require 2 sets of hands
Glad to hear you got some work done today. I did not clean the shop as usual, nor get to work on the car, but I did manage to repair the four post lift, which has been waiting forever and a day..... I had to tear the canopy off the tractor and fold the ROPS to get it underneath. Not an easy, nor one man job, but it is done.....totally soaked in sweat once i got that wrapped up and the tractor back together. Maybe next week for me ( as usual).

Yep, the humidity was brutal in my area! I wanted to work outside but just couldn't.

I ported heads til I couldn't stand the heat anymore. I took daughter out for dinner came home and it had cooled off, put in 2 hours more on the heads. Was up til3 am last night and up at 7:30 this morning, I'm beat.
Mark, what's shakin bacon? Let's see some update pics.

had hands on the car upwards of ten hours today, no wasted motion...... soaked 4 shirts........ pretty sure I'm useless tomorrow

racked and tacked the passenger door....... dialed in the alignment...... did a little nip and tuck around the edges

also fixed a bunch of small dents on the hood for at least the 4th time.......maybe 5

I took a huge bite out of it, it was a good day :thankyou:

Looks like rebel approves. You did alot for the first Sunday. But don't think we're going to let you slack next sunday.

As long as they used hardner, if it was a repaint. I've found a couple that didn't!

It's definitely dark outside. I get too many bugs in the shop this time of year if I have the door open. Great progress

it's the original, it's perfect...... underneath the 12 years of dirt

I call it a bumper filler, others may refer to it as a grille support; a valence would be under the bumper :poke:
Don't try to sidestep the inspector's gripes by pointing out my ineptitude with naming car body parts!

didn't get much done on anything this week, my back's been killing me.......

got 14 hours sleep last night with small break in between........ moving much better this morning.....

I cannot in good conscience work on my car tomorrow, unless I accomplish something else today.....

I'll be slower than usual; but have to finish up some welding on the Challenger, so I can get it on the rotisserie. That opens thing up as it will be mobile ...... and it will be on it's way to the paint room
Everything revolves around Sunday!

All excuses are valid by definition.

Sorry about your back.

I will not be deterred!
I know about back issues...it got better once I retired from the refinery but if I'm not careful doing things around the shop, I'll aggravate it. My low back has been acting up some lately just from leaning over working on the assembly of that Ebike...
