No. The heels and pads of both feet hurt no matter the shoes.
The shaped and arched insoles spread the load across more of both feet and the pain went away. Maybe I have too high arches? I didn't see a Podiatrist, just a salesman that took impressions of both feet and found that I needed support in the arches.

I went to a Podiatrist but for a different problem.....he even told me the brand of shoes I was wearing were junk when in fact, I've never worn a pair that felt so good. The inserts sure didn't do anything but made my feet hurt even after making an adjustment to them the next time to go in.
