I'll bet 90% of GTXs had them, but Baby Blue didn't. Original owner didn't order the light package. It was A01 in '69, don't know the code offhand for '68. I was surprised not to see them, after he coughed up $100 for a vinyl top. All my other GTXs had the bullets. The early '69s had the squared off Dodge style. Chrysler changed back to bullets early on, when it was discovered the hood scoop hid the center mounted indicator. The Demonstrator had square ones from the factory, switched to bullets when the original fenders were replaced with NOS. The Demonstrator is shown with original fenders, in 1971.Yes they are
I had both working when I got pulled over in Carlisle. That didn't stop me from getting cited, but it did help me beat the ticket in court.my instrument cluster has black cloth electrical tape over the turn signal indicator holes...... stops any light from coming through, and makes it impossible to install a bulb.
I kinda like the idea of having both, I'll probably remove the tape
