Is that where the washer fluid tank normally lives on a 73/74? My 72 fender tags are right there with the starter relay on the fender

Ok, but what does the tag mean? It's a 74 dodge charger.

That is an unusual looking strap, but a strap circled in green) was standard as far as I can tell.

No strap shown below, but there is a mounting hole (circled in green).

The car below car appears to have two fender tags (circled in yellow).

It's an inspection stamp.

Somebody did their job, inspected 'something', then punched the tag to show they did their job and inspected 'something'.

Unless you are the inspector showing you inspected 'something' or the person checking to see that 'something' got inspected, it's meaningless.

Again, it's typical and expected to find one on a 74 Lynch Road plant built Charger.

I've never seen a two tag car with the tags separated like above.

All the ones I've seen share a screw, usually the right one.

Yes.

Just on that model, that year, those options…. I don’t think add up to have that tag on it. And it’s a different color than the rest.

73-74 are typically installed like that. The inspectors tag has nothing to do with the option tag. My 74.
