Hello all, Restoring a 1964 Fury, been reading tis forum for some time now, looks to be a wealth of knowledge and a great place to gain some.

Is there an exhaust crossover port in the heads

Thanks; Prematurely, I thought I was going to need them, but turns out, a set of 2406518-1 heads are already on the engine. These heads have 6 valve cover bolts vs 4 so I'm assuming they are a later 64 version. I don't yet know if they are the legit original or reproduction. If reproduction, would it have this casting number on it?

Could really use some Mopar knowledge, I'm bidding on a Max Wedge Intake with casting number 2402726-1, want to make sure it is the correct intake for my application. Nearest I can tell, the current engine has 2406730 block with 2406518 heads, do I have a Max Wedge motor? The intake has a date casting of 1 5 63. Is this the correct manifold for the 426 MW?

what engine is in this car? The block casting is 2406730-1, I pulled the valve covers last night and the casting numbers are 2406518-1. It has a single 4bbl carb, block and heads based of casting numbers = 426 Max Wedge, on the top right side of the block it's stamped 426. Is this a Max Wedge with the wrong intake?

I have no idea what the current manifold is, I'm going to pull it apart this weekend and try to identify. Block, heads and exhaust manifolds all indicate a Max Wedge, but this intake manifold has me questioning what motor I truly have. Were there options to put a single carb manifold on a max wedge motor?

Very limited.. and from the small bit we can see ,looksike a dual plane? There was a Nascar single 4 with built in plate. Or someone welded and enlarged th ports of a stock port.. or maybe an indy dual plane..
The valley pan should tell us. Peel off the aircleaner and snap some pics!
