Brake vacuum issues

How are you guys with a more aggressive cam profile fixing your factory power brake vacuum issues? Some times this cars brakes are so hard to push then just locks them up, other times its tame and normal. Right now its making this car very difficult to drive

I haven't put a gage on it. But it is most likely a cam issue?

You need 15-18 minimum for power brakes.

Improve your vacuum or go to manual brakes.

I guess adding a vacuum canister is the way to go? How and where are are the best mounting spots on a b body? Trying to keep this as stock looking as possible

This is a timeless issue dating back to... WWII? Oil and water mix better than long duration cams (low vacuum at idle) and power brakes.

Install a milder cam. Having safe brakes is more important than having a lumpy cam.

I went straight to the hydro boost system. You can fabricate your own vacuum chamber to install where you do have room. Be mindful of the power of atmospheric pressure when designing!

Get a vacuum gauge with kit so you can check your vacuum at idle and cruising, use the kit to check the booster, also make sure there are no vac leaks anywhere else, valve is working, no kinked or collapsed hoses. I installed a reserve tank, but they have limited effect.
In other words, since you didn't mention it, go through your brake system to rule out other possible gremlins, there are several of them.
