Planning to upgrade the headers on my car, 66 coronet B-block engine, RPM Performer heads with studs. I was looking at TTI, but they say that their headers will not clear the studs for cyl #3, #5, and #7 on the drivers side. I found a set by Doug Thorley at the Mancini website, but it doesn't reference if there is a fitment issue with studs. Anyone know a brand that will fit over studs?

No idea..
I installed TTi headers on my built 383 in my 70 RoadRunner, no clearance problems with exhaust manifold studs and 906 heads..

Just my $0.02...

Or do they mean head hold down bolt/studs?

3. CYLINDER HEADS:
OEM or EQUIVALENT - Factory 915, 906, 452, Bulldog, Edelbrock E-street, Edelbrock Performer RPM, Indy-EZ, Stage 5, Trick Flow, 440-Source

• Cylinder Head Studs: Head studs may be used on the Passenger-side, however, the header tubes will not clear the cylinder head studs below the #3, #5 and #7 cylinders on the Drivers-side. We recommend ARP bolts for clearance in these areas.
So it they wont clear just put a couple bolts in.

It depends on how long the studs are. On my 452 Doug's it's only tight behind #1 and #2 on the passenger side. Just like when installing the bolts you have to keep the flange pulled away from the head to get these bolts started. Its a 3/8" flange. There is a recess behind the tube at these locations. Like stated use bolts or shorten the stud.
With power steering, studs won't let the header flange go over the studs because of the closeness and you might have to use bolts anyway.

Pretty sure he means block to head bolts/studs not manifold bolts/studs.
