Alerts not working?

So at the top right there's the little bell that gets a red tab with a number in it when there are new posts in followed threads.

Ain't workin'.

I thought it odd that there were no new posts, I clicked on the bell....and like 15 posts came up as "read: a moment ago".

Happening to anyone else? This is on my Windows laptop...haven't checked on my phone yet.

Yeah, in the grand scheme of things, the high count means nothing. I can't buy a meal with it, nobody with big boobs offers massages and I'm still subject to getting traffic citations despite having 140,000 +.
