Awesome, Thank You. Is it a common thing for one of the leads for what I think is a console light to be burned out? The wire from the shift indicator light is fried. I’m going to repair it and use this harness, but prevent add a fuse to this lead.
Yes, I plan on doing the same thing. It makes a big difference with the lighting in the car as well.
I couldn’t get me console as close as you have it. It wine line up with the linkage for the transmission.
Are those circuit breakers easy to get? I wouldn't mind replacing it.

That’s just to set it up to get welded.
Take out the lighter and ashtray. Should be underneath screwed onto the lighter connection.
I thought about just using it for a USB port for my many passengers.
Many passengers! Early 70’s, we one time had 7 people in the Charger going from one pavilion to another in our city’s Folkfest. This was a festival that had groups showcasing their countries lifestyle and food etc. Wonderful time! The City even had busses that went from pavilion to pavilion. It is a 3 day affair and is still running.
Back in the early 80’s when I was 16, your talking 1981 or so. A friend and me were cruising in Long Island in my 70 Charger on Route 231. It was a popular cruise lane. We picked up 6 girls. We put 4 in the back one on the console and one on my lap. The car was just about hitting the ground. You made me think of a memory from a long time ago.
