Doctor Diff question.

A bit
I was lucky in that it was up on a dyno at the time
and the shaft was slung down striking the shop floor
It took out the 3" exhaust system with 1 electric cutout
broke both yokes and the pinion bearing
the shaft put a small dent in the floorboard that was easily beat out (it didn't have to pretty)
Hopefully it didn't hurt the transmission.....

Forget to tighten the pinion yoke straps or what?
No
we believe it was a U-Joint Failure
I wish I had taken a picture
it ripped an arm off the u-joint through the zerk fitting
When we put it back together I went with larger, solid u-joints

yes
It was a short coming prior to the twisted drive shaft
it has been corrected with a USCT Motorsports bolt in loop

Not the best pick, it was taken with the car on the ground and me reaching under to check for clearance

Ok, It sure didn’t type what I was voice typing, I meant to ask, are you installing a driveshaft hoop.

I was thinking of installing one myself, to be on the safe side.

The USCT Loop is a nice piece
it's well made and easy to install with no welding or drilling
A little expensive but I think worth it
