Just a little update... Tony has been putting in a lot of hours making this car far better than I ever expected.... Thirty years ago I was a patient guy, these days I can get in a hurry.... Tony was always more detail oriented than me, not saying I haven't always been a detail oriented guy but I've kinda relaxed & accepted things as they are... Not Tony.... He still pays attention to the details... This car is gonna look amazing....

Thanks!! I can’t help myself… this car is too nice not to make it the best of my ability!!!

Well, I'll be.

Its about time

I remember progress photos of this car , What 20 years ago on Moparts ?
Yeah... I'm not a body & paint guy... I have so many parts all restored waiting, but I'm at the mercy of paint & body people... Starting to see the home stretch... Time to figure out what obscure part I don't have that'll put me back on hold....
Hell, I bought a few parts from you when you were in business back east, maybe Kentucky?

Remind me...what engine is going into this? How is the build of that?
I have a date correct 440 HP, not a numbers correct deal but not VIN stamped either...
I have these pistons... ICON IC836.030 ICON Premium Forged Pistons | Summit Racing
These rods... Eagle Specialty Products ZZZ-CRS6760B3D Eagle H-Beam Connecting Rods | Summit Racing
I've got a mild SFT cam, don't have the specs handy at the moment..
Block is currently at my buddies shop, He's letting me use his equipment.. I've decked it to 10.715, line honed, rough bored, still needs to go in the Sunnen CK10 for final honing...
Crank is .010/.010
got a set of 915's that I've invested a few weeks of spare time grinding on... 2.14/1.81 valves...
Should be 9.5-1, tight quench with iron heads...
