it would be alot easier to try to get a 66 column and sell the 65 all together they are getting hard to find, i bought a used 66 column this summer paid 50.00 just replaced turn signal switch
I have a sure grip there is a number stamped in it 23591X it's only 10 bolt for ring gear, 8 3/4 is 12 bolts any one have any idea what this would be for. I do realize the second number is manufactured date
already broke cam in, just want to do some pulls, we suspected something wrong with dist in motor and the only spare i have is electronic igntion so i know i have to hook box up
Bob My question from the begin was can i run it on a dyno with out ballast resistor, there's no alternator on motor just distributor possible run time of 1/2 hr and not at same time

Hi have a 440 its on the Dyno, and we think we have a issue with the distributor and its a plug and play unit, i want to change to see if it makes any difference but the only spare i have is a Chrysler electronic one so i have to use the box with it as well, but do i have to use the ballast...

i think this where i got mine it was made in the USA i used a couple of chinese crap ones through them out and haven't had any trouble, it been in the car probably 5 years, just check ebay but make sure its made in usa this where i got it

Has any one used the new molded big block windage tray, it says is reusable and do not require gaskets, its the Mancini Part# 20998 looks really good has any one had and experience using them does it require silicone on corners anywhere

It's 3/8 and they fit great. Joe Suchy sell them also
They are correct for max wedge clone. I have it on a 440 block
And do not have to notch or cut cross member
I have a 8 3/4 center section it does not have any numbers on case. the gear is a 3:91 non sure grip came out of a 64 pick up, would it be the same as a 742 case?
