having a hard time finding what fuel sender i need for this 1968 dodge charger. anyone know were or wich one i should look to get info to find exactly wich one i need?? help !!!!

yeah was wondering because the engine that was in the car had a casting date in 1966. the replacement motor i have has casting date in 1965. so im assuming that the 1966 casting date motor that was in the car is not the original engine. id just like to know what they came out of if possible

were can i find a list to tell info on the 2 383 motors i have, like what they came out of and if one is # matching from a 1968 charger

oh does anyone have a pic of the belt routing on a 383 without a/c? i think the original motor might been on wrong. also whats plug gap to be set at??

yeah there wasnt an intermediate shaft in it, i had to transfer it from old motor. what i did was bring old motor up to top dead center with #1 all way up and mark on balancer on 0, the i saw were the rotor lined up and then made a mark and then transferred everything over on new motor with # 1...

but shouldnt when u have the timing mark on 0 and # 1 piston all way up shouldnt rotor point to #1 on cap????

this isnt a hemi just a 383. not used to this style pickup tube. so is the thread like 1/2 inch npt?? just the one i have seems to big to thread into block
