Leakdown and compression test results were fine (160’s-170’s). It dynos 550 at crank 400 at wheels.

Here are pictures of the old pan flange. Hard to tell if there is a windage tray. It does not look like there is but I could be wrong.

The reason I’m thinking it must not be rings or valve guides or anything mechanical like this is because wouldn’t the oil bypass happen whether there were 4 or 5 quarts in the engine or 7? The fact that it only happens when the oil level is under 7 makes me think it must be pickup windage or...

Don’t think the plugs are fouling as it’s running very strong. The plug cables used to foul out due to heat from headers. Now have ceramic boots and runs great.

No idea if it has a windage tray. I’m assuming perhaps not considering the symptoms. Will look into adding one.

No evidence of oil seeping out heads. Nor was there antifreeze in the oil. See article above.
