On my 69 Coronet the speedometer needle bounces like crazy when car is moving 0 -20 mph. 20 - 65 mph the needle is steady an accurate. Above 65 mph the needle starts bouncing again. I inspected the drive gear. Looked good. I had an instrumentation shop in Virginia check the speedometer head...

I already tried adjusting torsion bars. No change. Local spring shop says they can rearch the springs to achieve 27" ride height on both sides

On my Coronet there is about 3/4" difference in the ride height left to right in the rear. I thought I read somewhere that this could have been intentional. Some folks run their car with more lift on the right side. Any truth to this? I would like to set it up so both sides are 28" fender...

Having a similar problem with a Coronet. Turn off the engine after it runs for awhile. Wait 1-2 minutes. Gas begins dripping out of the vent hose that runs up into the frame. Remove the gas cap and the leak stops. I have blown out the hose.
