    1965 Coronet AWB Build

There has been some progress but since work picked up things aren't going as fast as usual on the car... I ordered a driveshaft and have it here to install... In case anyone's curious it ended up 32 3/4" long... I sent the car out and had it lettered... Finally decided on a name for it too...

Curious for Opinions Here - What Percentage of Project Cars Actually Get Completed?

I don't know how anyone with out the tools...time and talent to finish one themselves could afford to pay someone else to do everything... Mine strap me financially during a build and I do 90% of everything... Being upside down going in the door because you overpaid for junk doesn't help...

Curious for Opinions Here - What Percentage of Project Cars Actually Get Completed?

My project cars have an 80% finishing rate as of now... 70 Satellite took 3 years from 2007-2010 and have been driving it ever since... 69 Dart took 3 1/2 years from 2010 to 2014 and have been driving it ever since... 72 Duster took 2 1/2 years from 2016 to late 2018 and have been driving it...

    Let’s see those winter builds

My project went gangbusters for about 3 months with most everything falling into place... Lately it has been 1 step forward and 3 steps back... Only good thing about is I do still make forward progress here and there... Top picture is December 17th of 2023... Bottom picture is February 23rd...

Holley 660's on a Tunnel Ram...What carb kit for a rebuild?

I researched those two kits...then I may also need to add in the extra 4160 metering block and bowl gaskets... Definitely a little higher than I would have guessed...

Holley 660's on a Tunnel Ram...What carb kit for a rebuild?

The carbs I have seem to work really well so far but are leaking at a few different areas... I'd just as soon rebuild them with new kits but in researching it I'm not sure what I need to purchase... These carbs have the metering blocks installed in the secondary's and the longer fuel feed...

    1965 Coronet AWB Build

Had it running for a little while today... Holding about 75#'s of oil pressure... Probably should have let it warm up a little more...

    1965 Coronet AWB Build

I got the new alternator belt installed after the first one I bought was too short... Finished up 90% of the wiring... The other 10% is the line lock and the field wire for the alternator which I can do later... Headlights...tail lights...dome lights and gauge light wiring all works now...

K member, engine and tranny stand

Mine is very primitive in comparison to some of yours... It has worked well on A-B and E bodies on numerous occasions... I have only ever added to its height for a deeper oil pan...

    1965 Coronet AWB Build

Thx...Its been too long and I just want it done... Not much has happened here lately... The guy who painted my car got his hand hurt... I've been spending time helping assemble his car... Deal was to have them both done by Memorial Day weekend so neither should be a problem... I finished...

    1965 Coronet AWB Build

Not a big deal but I also managed to get the right hand kick panel installed... I'm re-routing the tach cable when I finish the throttle pedal bracket... This left me an open grommet to run the temp gauge through once the dash is installed... Left hand side kick panel will go in once some...
