I did a video of installing my QA1 front. Went well, but I got miner as a level 2 handling kit. Should be towards the middle or end of the posted video.
Awesome looking 71! I recently picked one up as well and yours is in MUCH better shape. haha!
Let me know where you find a windshield, as I also need one!
This answers a lot of what I was looking at. I need to replace a lot of things on the interior, however, the main one being the dash pad. If the dash frame is the same, minus the rallye dash, I assume a pad can be sourced for a 71 charger that would fit my 71 coronet. I also need to look at...
Curious, as what I remember hearing before, are things like the dash and other non-body panel related electronics compatible between a 71 charger with a 71 Coronet? I was always told the coronet is just the non-performance (and in the early 70's, the 4 door version) of the charger?
Hey guys,
Picked up a 4 door coronet that needs some love. Needing the following:
Driver side front and rear door glass (Most important)
Back window
overflow bottle
driver fender trim (both wheel and body trim)
trunk lock with key
front hood emblems
fender emblems
Of course. I ended up biting the loss and ordered the same rims in a 17" rim. I also wanted cragars, but a few years ago when then outsourced overseas for the castings, they stopped custom offsets. I am still running the wilwood brake kits on the front and rear.
I ran the following and it did NOT fit:

I also am running American Racing Torque thrust II's in 15's.
15x10 in the rear with 5.5...
Hope you're able to track down the correct I/D grommet. One tip, leave it out in the sun, or warm it up with a low setting heat gun. Throw some silicone spray on the grommet as well. Muuuuuch easier to get it to slide in.
There’s a picture of what I’m referring to as the inner shaft. However, my woodgrain steering wheel is too large and the teeth do not grab onto that inner shaft.
So, I recently picked up a used woodgrain 70 wheel and tried to put it on. The gear for the inner column is smaller on my 1970 column. I assume I have a 68/69 inner shaft inside my 70 column? Is there an adapter I need to make this work? Or, is the only option I have to find the correct...
Hey, I’m running a custom brake setup and I’m needing some advice on which valves I’m needing to put in line to make sure it works properly. I’m running disc brakes both front and rear and a Wilwood master cylinder. It also came with a proportioning valve. Am I needing any additional valves to...
