Hmm... I know this sounds crazy but did you verify that it was not like 180* out of sync? Or for some reason the plug wires were on 1 or even 2 over? I hate to do it but I always check the stupid stuff... Well, because sometimes I have a stupid moment. :grin:

OK, I haven't done the research to see what year it is and what type of carb? Also the oil light might be coming on if you are on the edge of being low and the acceleration is pulling the oil away from the pump. I'm sure you have checked that but just in case... I have seen later year cars have...

Which one is easier for cleanup for guns, spills and the such...? I was already leaning toward the Urethane...
