Hey, i need to take off the dash pad to paint it can some one tell me how to go about it,thanks

There are nuts behind the pad to remove. Just feel for them and use a long extension.
Its a back breaking & hand scratching P.I.A. Have fun.

One of those really long, flexible extensions will help. I can check in my shop later to see what size socket and how many/ where those fasteners are to help take some guesswork out of it for you.Feel free to give me a call at 248-343-5301 if I haven't gotten back to you on this before you are ready to start.

let me know step by step thanks

I think the nuts are 3/8". I found the best tool was a 1/4" drive socket with a 4" long flex extension followed by different lenghths of extensions for each individual one. You will have to do this by feel and use some dum-dum in the socket when reinstalling to hold the nut. It's not as hard as it sounds, but you will have to remove the radio and loosen the heater control.

There are 6 3/8's nuts on the backside, 1 on either side of the heat controls, 1 at each end a couple of inches in from end and 1 each side at the middle.
This should help.
