anyone have a trick for installing fuzzies on back edge of door glass?

What i've done in the past is, get on clip started on one end, pop into place using the flat side of a cut in half hockey puck and a smaller rubber mallet. Work down the line till secured.

Hope it helps, just what worked for me in the past

Of course finding a hockey puck in Alabama might be a bit tricky....LOL

you are right about the puck! I can probably find a football in Al., but I do not think it will work! I do see what you mean. I should be able to find something that will work. Thanks!

The fuzzies on the interior side of the quarter glass appear to be stapled on, any tricks to install the new ones?

Window glass sweeps....

Yep..... Hockey pucks are a rare commodity here in Alabama. LOL. Good idea though.... Maybe marketable....?

Legendary offers nice reproductions of the originals with all the clips in the right places which makes it very easy to install, (especally with a 1/2 hockey puck).

The fuzzy catwiskers can be bought cheaply and installed by drilling and using black #6 tapered flathead phillips screws.

I have used corasponding guage stainless wire to simulate and reinstall stapled parts. Cut to size, bent into a "U" and insert into the original staple holes. It's a little tedious but works and looks like original.

Where in Alabama are you located....?

I did the same thing with the stainless steel wire. I rolled up some stainles bailing wire till it had a small spiral head on it and bent it on a 90 deg. Pushed it through the hole in the fuzzie I made with a awl and bent it over on the backside ( had to drill the back panel at each spot were i made these to fasten it though.
