Well I spent most the day cleaning up my 65 coronet wagon for a fairly local cruise in this afternoon. This was the first time to have the ol girl out since rebuilding the engine and trans, but got there and back safe. Still have a few minor bugs to work through , but I was over all pleased. Thought I would share a few pictures of before I left today. It sure was a great day to do some car stuff.

Great wagon! Love seeing that four speed in there too. Tell us about the engine you rebuilt!

your wagon is sweet love the patina.

Very cool ride! I'd love to have a stick shift wagon.

That had to feel good. Very nice wagon. Ron

It is just your basic run of the mill steel crank 383. It was bored .030 over put a set of completely rebuilt 915 heads on it and an engle hyd. cam. Edlebrock DP4B intake and a 750 quick fuel carb.

That Coronet is sweet! I havn`t see those clear floor mats in ages!

That Wagon really look's great! No paint job needed, great patina. I like it. Have fun and enjoy.

Right on Matt!! Good to hear that cruising is alive and well in the South (well South of me anyways). That's the exact model and color wagon that I traded to get my '64. Maybe I'll build one next.

330wagon your paint looks killer. I can't wait to see it back in one peice so we can go flog it at the track.

63wagon your car looks absolutly great! I don't have the heart to tear mine down and paint it. I just rebuilt the engine and the 4 speed over the winter along with some suspension work. I did get a couple second gear rubber while we were out last night , but no major burnouts. Make sure to keep us posted on the progress of your wagon. Also thanks to everyone for the replies as I do enjoy it!

That look is perfect!

Glad to know it as I have a pair of 15x8's sitting here ready to go and have been contemplating tire choices...

Were you guys in the Knoxville area? Was there today with a group of Harley riders and saw a bunch of classic cars.
