66-67 trunk extensions?

I bought some trunk extensions from Classic in MI, they are frickin terrible. Has anyone used the 68-70 extensions from AMD for a 66-67 b-body? Does anyone have any suggestions other than donor panels or know where to purchase a descent reproduction?

I ordered Sherman panels for my `66 Belvedere II. The body man seemed pleased with their fitment and quality.

They run $108 a piece. I think someone had mentioned on another thread they can be found on a wholesale website (rockauto...or something like it) for even less. Hope this helps.

Sherman pieces are Canadian made and zinc coated. They work pretty good

Do you have any pictures of them installed? Can you post some pictures of them (trunk shots of both sides)? I appreciate it in advance. I just do not want to purchase any more junk, you know what I mean.

Will check, but I don't think I took any photos of those. The body guy made patch panels from the whole extension, as I had just a little rust.

Have decided to cut out the extensions on both 4door parts cars. I have a 66 Belvedere II and 67 Belvedere I for parts.

I have purchased several things from AMD for my 73 and talked with the folks there at great length, and i am pretty happy with not only thier parts but their service as well.

To date i have bought
Quarter patch panels,
Trunk extensions and end caps
outer wheel house
door hinges
fuel tank
and front floor halves

I cannot find any difference in these from the originals.

Idrivemopar,
I wish AMD had the quarter extensions for my car and I would not be try to reuse stuff or salvage vintage metal. I bought the rest of my stuff from them and I am absolutely pleased with their products.
