Good job. those 1 stage paint jobs has it's advantages.

I did the same thing to my first car when I was a kid one summer. Bought it for $400 with a very faded paint job. I hand buffed it out with rubbing compound, pick up a junk set of rims and tires from a salvage. The guy I bought it from thought I had repainted it when he saw it at school.

THAT is SOOOO Cool! Starting to REALLY dig those old MOPARS! My Aunt had one, when I was a kid, thought it was the Fugliest car on the earth! Not now!

I remeber meeting an old guy who was a Mopar salesman back in the '60's...he told me he couldn't sell the SD2 when it was released over here. Jump forwrd 35 - 40 years and he has a paddock full of old mopars for sale, and when people ring to buy guess which one they are chasing? yep, '62 model.

Great job! You should be extra proud having done the work yourself - that's a big part of what makes the hobby so satisfying.

That looks absolutely amazing!! Congrats on a great idea that turned out beautiful.

I think it looks great ! Ron
