So like an idiot, I get too close to my back window with the polycarbide strippng disk and scuff the glass. Any advice on polish? I don't want to mess up the glass any more by rubbing a bigger scuff into it with the wrong polish.

Try Cerium Oxide which is a fine powder for glass polishing. You mix it with water
into a paste but if you can feel the scratches with your fingernail it probably won't work. Best to use a felt polishing cone with an electric drill.

I've used it for wiper marks before.

Good luck!
