I've got a few pics taken in my driveway back around 1970. Thought maybe a few folks in this forum might enjoy them.

Thanks...How 'bout them full wheel covers? Just for the record, shoulda seen the neighbors when my Dad blew the hides off in front of the house. Bias tires+concrete=hellacious noise...Lol!!

Love those pics! Where is the car now, is it still around?

Very nice!!! :hello2:

How cool I'd this picture, now that's a picture full of great memories. I would blow that up and put it above the fireplace. Love it.

Ah, the good ole days; when in front of every house was an oil spot. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Sadly, it was only around one evening. I'll explain more.

Several oil spots...Glad you enjoyed the pics. They're priceless to me.

Puhleeeze tell me that car is still in your family.

It was a customers car that was in the body shop at the Dodge Dealer where my Dad was the b/s manager. The owner hit a parked car, and as I recall, it took a year to get a nose for it. If you look, you can see the license plate is still pretty bent up. Anyhow, my father thougth it judicious to quality check it for the customer, with 145 mph on the highway being the acceptable standard for vnh...lol! I still remember being forced back into the seat as my father read off the steadily climbing mph. 120-125-130-135, and so on. Unforgettable to a young kid. Couldn't pull that stuff off these days.

Anyhow, I have no idea where the car ended up. Maybe, by some miracle, the Ohio tag will reference it so someone's collection, and they'll have not only an interesting sidebar, but know that they own the catalyst to one young man's lifelong love for Mopar's. If by chance anyone knows this car, just pm me. I do have a little more history on it. Thanks for letting me share my pics and story!! Jim.

145 in a hemi Daytona.. aside from not having the car, having that experience has got to be the next best thing. Thanks for sharing!

very cool stories, love the 70 vintage photos too & I'll bet you remember that car liker it was just yesterday....

Remember those old Polaroids where once the pic came out, you had to squegee a chemical over them to save the print. That's what these are.

And yes, I do remember it like it was yesterday. Without these photos my story would be the same as the 4 million people that were at Woodstock....Lol!!

If there's an e-body forum, I've got a good story about an orange AAR Cuda that spent the weekend at our house. No photos though, you'll just have to trust me......;)

Thanks again for all the comments, and warm welcome to the site.
