Hi, strange question but my '64 fury came with a bench, now has a110 superstock seats and i want to replace them with stock buckets. when i bought the car, the seller gave me a set of buckets without brackets, but they are both drivers side seats. can I still use the drivers side bucket on the passenger side, and when i get the brackets would the passenger side brackets fit the drivers side seat that would be on the passenger side? Thanks

I just looked at the seats for my '64 sport fury. They have a chrome molding on the outside edge of the seat bottom that they don't have on the inside edge. I am assuming that they don't have the molding on the inside edge because of the console. Other than the moldings, I couldn't see any difference in the two seats. It looks like the brackets should interchange between the seats.

Sounds good, thanks a lot, I'll have to look and see if theres a way to switch that moulding to the other side of the one seat. Thanks

The brackets will be the same on both seats. Only other difference than what Albert said would be the knob to release the back of the seat.

Yea don't think you have to worry about the seat back release knob on a 64..I know my 65 coronet doesn't have them. I've been told it makes for a fun dentist trip when you slam on the brakes.....Wondering if I should warn my wife about that on our first drive lol :)

Yeah, no knob. Also, the pass side seat back will come forward when ya slam on the brakes. There is a bolt that can be tightened by the seat back hinge to slow it down, but also makes for getting into the back seat area kinda hard, ask me how I know this, lol!

If I remember right the lower trim piece is angled in the front It will be up side down when switched left to right
