With great sadness I am listing my Coronet for sale. It appears that our realestate market and my new move are going to dictate that I have to liquidate some assets to make this work. The details:

1967 Dodge Coronet Deluxe 2 door Post
Originally a 273, 3 on the tree, 0 option car.
Now has a stock 5.7 Hemi, NV3500 5 speed manual transmission, hotwire harness with manual transmission tune. New Ron Francis chassis harness (need lighting and heater box finished), Freshly rebuilt front suspension with all new PST parts. New front and rear disk brakes with adjustable proportioning valve, new lines, power brake booster. The car still retains its manual steering and original column. Has had all of the rust completely repaired with steel, new undercoating and new weatherstripping and seals. Is currently in final paint and will be painted when sold with single stage Nason metallic blue. Has cop wheels with caps but will need new tires.

To be completed it will need:
custom driveshaft, bumpers re-chromed or painted and installed (come with car), all trim and grille installed (comes with all original trim in good shape, two sets of grille surrounds, in good shape, two grilles), interior need carpet, headliner, re-upholstered seats, and gauges installed (comes with $700 custom gauges, sending units, and wiring harneses).

The car runs an yard drives with a temporary drive shaft. It just needs to be finished but I don't think I will be able to afford it.

Asking $15000 after the final paint work has been completed. Currently located in Crystal Falls, Mi

Nooooooooo ! Your project was one of my 'go to' threads when I first found this forum, it really sucks that you won't be finishing it.....

I hate it when life gets in the way of a good car.

Good luck with your sale.

OH NO KB ! ! ! ! This news really spoiled my day ! ! ! So sorry that you have to sell - hate when life throws a wrench into the works . . . ( sigh )

Well I still have my fingers crossed that maybe I'll be able to get away without it...but the way things are looking in our realestate market I will probably be taking a loss. And taking a loss and trying to come up with a down payment at the same time are going to dictate that the car sells. I hate it and it kills me but it may be necessary. But hey, I could still get lucky and I will not be giving the car away for quick cash...I put nearly 3 years of blood into it.

As always guys, thanks for your support and keep your fingers crossed.

Got my fingers crossed for you KB . . . hope that it all works out ! !

Aw Mannn.....Sorry to hear it Kb. It's been fun watching this Coronet come back to life. Sure would be nice to see you be able to hang on to her, but completely understandable where you're coming from. GLWS and your move.

That sucks! Hopefully things will turn around and you can keep the car.

I took a quick run thru your build thread ( looked at the pics lol ) and I can see why you don't want to sell the car if you don't have to. You did lots of great work to her. I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope things work out for you.

I think for the time being I am taking the car off the market! No gaurantee's but for now I think we may squeak this out!
