The cruising club in my local city of Tampere, were asked if we wanted to participate in this years "Flower Festival" Lame name, but marks a week of music, food and culture here in Tampere. They have a Miss Flower Festival girl..This year a little blonde cutie..That I managed to get to pose with my car..Of course! ;)

As usual ALL of my photos are in FLickr. I have only processed 70 so far, as I cruised with a large group until after midnight. And I now need to get to bed..I will do more tomorrow.

So what's that, like 22:00 at night? Sun still shining bright?

I gotta go to a show in Finland. Would love to see video of this show. All the bars and stars flags crack me up.

It’s either a excellent camera or you have great skill taking a photo...:headbang:

Someone just put up a vid of us in the parade..

And @pops..I like to think it is a bit of both. Camera is a 7D, lens is a 16-35mm F2.8 L (pro lens)

Is it illegal to have tires sticking out past the fender lip? Don't see many Jeeps here with them tucked in lol. I know you can't have any amount of rubber sticking out past the lip in Germany......

Not over here. Cars are inspected either once a year or once every 2 years (depends on if it is a normally registered vehicle or a museum registered one) Mine is a museum registered vehicle and only needs to be inspected every 2 years.

Every car you see in my photos is legally registered. And yesterdays parade was controlled by the police. So close attention was paid to all of our cars I am sure. No arrests, no cars issued defects, which is not bad considering the diversity and quality standards that were present.

I am not a big fan of the rat rod and 'general junker' styles. They are still part of the sub culture here though. I am amazed how some of them get through inspections to be honest.

well Tek again some very nice cars and great photos and you cant go wrong with a Canon 7D :headbang:

Tx..you are right..Great camera..(better lens) ;)

if you want good Canon glass it cost ,thanks for sharing :headbang:

You are right. My fav 2 lenses at the moment are my 16-35 mm f2.8 L and my 70-200mm F2.8 L..With those 2 lenses I have just about everything covered.

Looked like the Camero was being towed by the yellow Mopar. Tailgater. Bus parade going the opposite direction too!

Yeah, well it was still during normal shopping hours. :) I'm not complaining too much. My wife and daughter were watching from a little further down the road and got some shots too.
