Anyone ever hear of a 1972 GTX "limited edition"?

On craigslist right now is a 72 GTX (originally with dual RR badging of course) that shows a partial picture of the dash with an oval plaque above/left of the glove box on the area the middle A/C vents usually are, with the word "Limited Ed..." spelled out in cursive, silver letters on a red background. It looks tacky to me. I've never seen anything like it. Anybody knows if this is a factory call-out?

That's one of those cheapy aftermarket ad-ons. You usually see them at JC Whitney and places like that.

Could not even see enough information here to verify it being a RR alone GTX option. Looks a a lot like a Satillite to me from front and no emblem's or vin.

I'd love to know where that front valance came from.

maybe came from a satellite sebring limited?

it needs one of those nos metal bird heads in the grille!

This is supposed to be a 72. No plastic or metal bird head. So ditch the idea of 71 stuff.
