20150611_212923.jpg I just bought this new compressor it's a 7.5 hp two stage 80 gallon. It should do just about anything I need. I'll wire it up tomorrow and break it in .

I have same compressor its a real animals. Run it 2 hours and change the 30 weight all synthetic oil non detergent only and ingersoll doubles warranty.

Looks like mine. What are you going to use for piping? The instructions from them point you to their stuff, very pricey. They hop around on plastic, which I'm leery of anyway. One thing I did find out though was that, since they run synthetic oil, the blow by mist attacks the adhesive on the fitting alowing them to fail if you use plastic. Probably something to consider regardless of which oil you use. I ended up using 1" copper, got 80' for free, and just had to buy all the fittings. They even said stay away from copper. Don't understand the reasoning behind that. I plumbed in a used commercial a/c condenser to cool the air and am in the process of sourcing a dessicant type filter/dryer to clean and dry the air. The MotorGuard unit I have is getting overpowered with the moisture still. the dessicant will take care of that and I'll use the MotorGuard unit as a point use final filtration. If you are painting, media blasting, plasma cutting, air tools etc the air needs to be dry and clean otherwise you can screw things up big time.

Nice compressor, I am waiting for my old 6.5hp {marked that, not really 6.5hp} to die, Tractor supply has sales on that 7.5hp IR for $1800 from time to time, as soon as mine dies I am going to pick one up...
