Hey guys I'm wondering what the right amount of torque for each bolt on the transmission pan is. I walked into my garage and there was a puddle of tranny fluid on the ground, I jacked the car up and the bolts are lose. i googled it and I couldn't find the number that I would need to tighten it, I also don't have a service manual. It's for a 70 roadrunner if that helps any, thanks

do you have a four speed (833) or an automatic....904 or727. a four speed doesn't have a pan.

It's a 3 speed automatic

You have a 727. A-833 is the manual four speed.

Here's the factory tightening reference - 150 INCH pounds for the pan.

Wow, that might have been bad if I tightened it to the wrong spec, thanks for all the help, my next question is that there was a puddle of tranny fluid under the car could it possibly only come from the lose bolts? Or would you think that it's a cracked seal.

could be the selector shaft seal leaking.

Most likely the filler tube o-ring is dry rotted.
