msd 6al to msd 8546 wiring ?

I noticed while installing this today. I have a new Msd box going to an older msd distributor and of course the tech support is closed on a saturday. Im not sure how to wire the weather pack connector im making. I know the 6al box wires to the distributor are, Green/+ and Violet/-, but on the MSD 8546 distributor the two wires are Black/orange and Black/violet, for the life of my i cant figure out which is positive and which is neg......any one know 100% how this should be wired together. any advise is appreciated...thank you

Orange stripe should be hot, open your dizzy mine had a Blue cover on the magnetic pickup, and my orange stripe is hot. Look up the instructions for the magneto if you want to be sure, I JUST replaced one 3 days ago, lol so the instructions are on my box right now.
Part number 84661 , it was $30 so if you hook it up wrong you know what it costs. I have bought an extra so if you need it let me know, lol

Its funny how life works, I NEVER changed an msd magneto in my life, and this week one runs through with a bad mag, so I order them and change it out, then you ask what wires go to what, funny coincidences. I normally would have no idea but I actually read the instructions because the plug end has a 1 and 2 on them, and I pulled it apart with out paying much attention.
