Hey guys, I'm relatively new here. I'm fixing up a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 and in the dashboard there is this lever that can be pulled, but I don't know what it does or for what it is. Can anyone help?
Thank you I'll test that out.If the car runs rough 15 minutes after startup with that know pulled all the way out....it's a manual choke lever.
If your legs change temperature after a similar time, it's part of the heater or vent box.
....or you could follow that sound advice from @the mississippi madmanThank you I'll test that out.
It's just a fresh air vent. There are often two of them, one for drivey side and one for ridey side. If they work you will feel a draft while you're driving about
Awwww cmonThere's a ******* spoil sport in every crowd !!
When you're done checking out that cable....head on over to the Welcome Wagon and introduce yourself....and put up some more pics of the car.Thank you I'll test that out.
shame the car has a 361cubic inch engineI was guessing a parachute deployment lever?? Only offered on 426 Hemi models.
