70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

I did. I'm recovered and back to work on this project. The floor is in and I'm working on thedrivehaft/transmission tunnel.

Tried to get to Drag Week in '07 down at Cedar Falls. Just about made it there before having trans leakage problems on my Charger. We decided to head back before burning up in a fire ball. Hopefully I can get to see a Drag Week someday.

I was there. That's the year Denny T was cutting procharger belts off at each track. I've been on DW in 06,07,10,15,17. It's a great event.

Driver side floor in, driveshaft tunnel in, working to zip up the rest of the trans tunnel.

My buds car. This went 8.07 at 171 the pass before. This pass was 8.78 at 100 backwards into the wall, up and over. Can't have too many bars.

Friends Chevelle. Just completed it the previous fall. Got it out of storage, got on it to hard spun around, went off the road, clipped a telephone poll and landed on the roof. If someone hadn't stopped right away he'd been toast. Roof collapsed on him pinching his throat between roof & steering wheel. A lucky boy.

Was that last weekend Mike, temps were pretty cool.

They're all high resolution copies and are too large to upload directly. Resizing and uploading would take nearly as long as finishing the car, lol. I understand the need for Photobucket to charge for their services, but the manor in which they're going about this and the exorbitant amount they're charging could very well be their downfall. I'm already a paying customer as I had purchased extra storage but this new deal isn't much of a deal.

That may have been part of the problem, and maybe not enough cars to keep heat in the track, especially down track. I remember I was once there in Oct. on a turbo bike, (8.40s et) my shift light never went out on the back half, blacktracked the whole way. I packed up and left before I suffered the same fate.

Definitely didn't help. We needed the sun to come out and that didn't happen. It was sketchy for a while then finally came around.

Mike may I ask where you mounted your GV box at?

So I’ve mounted the second turbo and figured some more stuff out. Talk about garage engineering on the fly lol.
