has anyone ever seen one of these? My 64 is a sport fury but I don’t recall ever seeing the golden commandos portion of this emblem on any car? Any insight? Was this a factory option?
Yep 62 I know where there is a 62 SF sitting behind a body shop all original and the emblem is on both sides it's a 383/4
Commando/GC badging ended in '63. Commando was a 361/4; Golden Commando was 383/4

My 62 Fury has the same Golden Commando badge as your 63. It is just a Fury, 361 Canadian built. Don’t know if they used the 383 in the 1962 Fury or Sport Fury in Canada
62 GC's were 361 ci., the 383 GC came out in 63. 383's in 62 were rare and only came through the fleet division. The 62 Spt. Fury used The GC name in the Spt. Fury emblem, all other models used the gold GC badge at rear of front fender.Yep 62 I know where there is a 62 SF sitting behind a body shop all original and the emblem is on both sides it's a 383/4
