Have 63 bev . Looking to put new leaf springs on .I thought that 63 and 65 was the same but the 65 is a inch longer.Question is ,does the 1inch make it sit higher or set the wheel back a inch ? My is 20 front rear 35 total 55 in. 65 is 21 front and 35 total 56 ins. Thanks

the 1" will move the rear end back.

Probably no diff in height, it's all in the spring rate.

The reason i was asking was cause the 63,64,65 about the same platform , I thought maybe they change lengths because it was a better set up . Other words which one to use ? Thanks

IMO go with the shorter original. 1” less spring to wrapup when taking off hard.

I think any of S/S springs would be a bolt up.

I run the standard 55" SS springs on my 63. They are the 3400 lb rated ones I bought from Mancini. This how it sits and how they fit as these are the same size (lenth) as the A-body 002-003 springs on my sons 72 Dart. Ron

According to the mother ship, aka Mopar, the early b's springs are different dimensions than 66- units. Plus toss in that they are different dimensions between Plymouth and Dodge in the 62-5 era. AR Engineering makes front spring hangers, can get from Firm Feel, Mancini, Mazzolini and others, that allow you to use the 66- springs if you decide to use non super stock units. The MP Super Stock units could be had for the early b's.

Hey Ya'll! I have a '68 Plymouth Satellite Wagon and I'm looking for a pair of leaf springs for the rear, both of mine are shot. I see in the manual that it needs 5.5 leaf springs. I am having trouble locating some OEM ones for the wagon model. Can anyone help me out??

You can get them rebuilt, re arched , re heat treated at any good spring (truck) shop
see if there was a HD option that model or later same model
