Should be a 5/16”(?) steel rod sticking out that stops seatback lean, you can bend it a little. 68’s were all 50/50 far as I know. No pics,mine’s at body shop. Maybe shim up rear of tracks?

Just an update I did find a tag on seat and it was a 1973 Seat for a B body
Sold the seat and I did find a super nice set of seats for my car
