Just saying hi and looking forward spending some time here. I have a 66 Coronet 440 383 in pretty good shape. Car was restored and repaint a number of years ago. Too nice of a car to chop up and make into race car so it will be a warm weather driver with few trips to the very conveniently located BIR drag strip 5 miles from my home. Been a fan of mid 60's mopars since I was in 6th grade. My past notable car was a 68 Chevelle 396 and I went through my Harley Davidson stage. I'm far from a expert on Mopars, Over the winter I'm going to add a 67 hemi 3.5 inch hood scoop and leave the rest of the exterior just as it is.

Thanks, I grew up in White Bear spending many Tuesday Fall nights out at Northstar Dragstrip. BIR has Wed night racing now. Will see if I remember how a line lock works on a couple Wed nights before trying anything else. See if this car goes in a straight line. :thumbsup:
 
I grew up in North St Paul. I spent many, many nights & days at Northstar. Learned how to to win bracket races at Northstar. Look forward to seeing you at BIR if you go to the holiday weekend races (Memorial, 4th, Labor).

I'm dating myself here, I remember driving through North St. Paul back in the mid 70's and in the parking lot of a apartment building on the west end of town I would see Stan Berry's mid 60's Mopar bracket car. I think it was a 66 Satellite or something like that. Those were enjoyable nights at Northstar. If the wind was right you could smell the alcohol exhaust from the sprint cars on Saturday nights over at the oval track.
