I have some water spots on my door glass and vent windows..is it okay to use the clay&spray or some 0000 steel wool on original glass? I'd hate to mess it up as it's in otherwise great condition. What are you all using? Thanks for your opinions!
Use some ammonia in the water to lubricate it. I always used a brillo pad. DO NOT use Scotchbrite.I used to clean my windows on a 65 Impala SS with 0000 steel wool and glass cleaner. Never harmed them and always left them smooth and clean. Just go lightly.
Thanks guys! I just need to get some hard water spots off. I will try to remember to report back what I used and the results..
More than likely age separation......Only fix is to replace the glass...Ok guys what about fog on my windows? My windshield has some fog, (is the only way I can explain it) on the lower portion. It’s the original glass so I’d like to keep it if possible
