DePouli's 1969 Charger 318

Hopefully the last of the black bits...at least ones I can't do with a rattle can...

Car should be coming home Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

If you look close there is a radiator in there along with a pulley I missed earlier

So car is coming back next week now.

I'm planning to start underneath the car first. Off my head I plan to install

1. Gas tank,
2. Fuel lines
3. Brake lines,
4. Starter
5. Exhaust (got a dual setup even though it is a 318)

Gonna save the trans cooling lines and the driveshaft until later. The trans lines cause I don't have repros in hand yet and drive shaft cause I don't want to mess with the trans linkage yet and thus want to keep the car easy to roll. Come to think of it though maybe I leave the exhaust off on that side for access to the linkage.

Does the forum have any lesson learned in terms of the best order to do these in or any reason I should NOT wait on those couple items. Just trying to avoid doing work twice or making it tougher to do later work ( i.e. the exhaust versus trans linkage). Thanks in advance.

thats awesome. looks like our cars were in the booth at the same time. lol. heres my new color

Worked on the headlight panel some. Just to do something.

I had been saving a nice set (well I thought it was a set) of T-3 Headlights. Turns out I have gobs of Hi beams and only one Hi Lo. Then when I went to get another I discovered T-3s we're for GM cars...so... Undecided at the moment.

Also need to get some screws for the trim rings as I only had 6 correct ones. Also broke one trim ring so need to snag one of those...

Not the most productive work but learned some new things...

That is such a beautiful car you have there Brian. Are you going to be putting a vinyl top on her. You are now up to the most enjoyable part, have fun.
