Rear leaf spring question

Hi all, I've got a 67 Charger that has an aftermarket 440 in it. The problem I'm having is that it looks like the rear leaf springs are either stock, or just not the right kind to hold a 440 because the rear axle is being pushed forward into the wheel wells. How would I go about determining the right kind that can hold the 440?
