I know man....they are all dropping like flies! Must be something they all used, took, or something was in the water.

R.I.P.

I met the man once at the Consumer Electronics show in Chicago many years ago. Very nice guy. The voice doesn't match the persona.
61 is way too young to go.

Don’t know what he died from but at his size these athletes often have very enlarged hearts. Plus he didn’t look like he missed too many meals........ RIP

R.I.P. The 80s was the golden age of wrestling with all the major stars who came from that era - Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, etc.

Many are regular people playing a game, still fun to watch. RIP!

RIP. He was one of my favorites to watch when I was a kid.

No offense intended;
God I hate wrestling
I'm have my Dad living with me, my Dad who loves 'that crap'
watches it at a min. 5hrs a week, mon. 3hrs & tues. 2hrs
unfortunately;
I know way more about 'that fake crap'
than I care too

My grandfather, my mother's father
was a ref for 'bigtime wrestling' & occas. roller derby
in Oakland, Jack London Square, studios, channel 2 IIRC
I went to watch filming a few times
(it is a bit better choreographed/scripted today)
he told/warned me about the fake/phoniness
& it stuck with me since

I met a few ol' wrestlers, that were pretty cool
I was pretty young, before I was 10

That guy reminds me of Butterbean (spelling ?)
the ol' "heavyweight" Boxer
looks, like they could be twins

I gotta' admit the 80's Hogan & Flair era was better

RIP Christopher
61 is way too young to die

obesity, would be a contributing cause, as a 1st guess

Back in the eighties it was better, more unique. More original, and oh yeah I was in grammar school & back then men were men boys were boys and we loved fighting and rough housing.

Cant tell you how many times my brother and I injured each other doing body slams and doing drop kicks from the furniture.

I used to have all these guys wresting figures with wrestling ring.
I hated Hogan though, my favorite wrestler was always "whoever is wrestling Hogan"

Ive often heard that Christpher Pallies aka King Kong Bundy was a gentleman of great character.
He was quite brilliant too, his moniker (keep in mind, he was a bad guy) came from combing the movie monster King Kong with the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, it was the early eighties. Lol brilliant IMO!

RIP he was cool
him and andre the giant

Tough break, you don't see many older giants. I believe this holds true for most mammals. RIP
