I dont recall ever hearing him back in the early 70s when I first started listening to rock music radio. There were 2 AM top 40 radio stations then, I think he was on WLS and I listened to “super CFL”
But I do remember when I first started regularly displaying a car at area car shows in the late 90s, Dick Biondi was the DJ/emcee at the “Skips“ car shows at the Lake County fairgrounds so I’d see him regularly back then.
RIP to another Chicago radio legend, he joins Larry Lujack, Bob Collins, and Clark Weber in the great radio studio in the sky.
