So I am missing my shift knob on the 70 Sat which is common among the bbodies from what I have seen. It’s a press fit not threaded. Wondering if there are any reasonable replacements?

On a similiar note. I broke my little orange gear indicator on a auto column trying to remove it for painting the column. The only few columns available out there with these little parts included. People don’t want to separate these parts in hopes of selling the whole column with these parts included. After many failed attempts with people that had the part included with a column for sale. I finally resorted to offering an exorbitant amount ($40) to obtain my little pointer. You might have to do the same.

There aren’t many columns available out there, in my opinion. There either on restored cars, sitting in cars that dreamers intend to restore (one of these days). There’s very few of these cars sitting around anymore being parted out. So, you have to resort to extreme measures sometimes. To get what you need. Especially with parts that aren’t reproduced.
