any body here swapped the std progressive linkage on a double pumper over to a 1.1 set up that holley sells? its std on dominators but not on any thing else..seems it would be a good idea on single plane intakes where fuel dist from the primarys only would off set dead spots....

I used one on my Demon carb but I was running a short 26 inch tire and had too much wheel speed. I think with my new 28 inch M/Ts it would work better. My 60 ft time dropped some just from the tire size change.

1.1 mite be a bit much for street cruising,,like the 660's were,,either on or off,,,,but this adj linkage is good for adj the secondary throttle blades to make them wide open when the primarys r.instead of trying to work the very limited throttle cable adj..which is what i had to do..

IIRC back in the day we'd just bend the little linkage rod
to a bit more of angle, usually on some DP carb
so the rear butterflys come in much quicker
still be barely progressive off idle & near 1:1 fairly quickly

1:1 like the old 660 & Dominators for tunnel rams were

never used the 1:1 conversion linkage they sell
