Putting Everything Together?

Just Wondering If There Was a Sequence To Put Everything Together On a B-Body.. A Correct Order To Install Everything So Im Not Goin Back Removing Stuff..

I Have Seen One On Here Before But Can Not Find It..

It's called the "Critical Path".
It all depends on what has been torn apart and what needs to be put back together, in the proper sequence.
A little more info is required to properly answer your question.
A car resto isn't a Monogram model.

The way I'm going about it is to install anything that would be a PIA if you had to install it with other crap in the way. Brake system, fuel system, body plugs, heater box, wiper motor/linkage, etc, just to name a few but you get the idea.

A FSM/Factory Service Manual will help you but my advise having gone through this is to get your sub systems and electrical all hooked up. Brake Lines, Fuel lines, tank, sending unit, etc. The brake lines, brake system both front and rear, reservoir, proportioning valve, etc. Then the rear electrical harness through the front dash and them the engine bay. I could go on here but you must take it step by step and have a plan to bring it all together. Hopefully you labeled everything during tear down which also helps on reassembly. But above all, take your time and check, then re-check, and then check again as some things can be over looked and then you have to go back and fix it or start all over again. 82. install radiator & connect hoses

87. install rear valance (if applicable)
88. set car on the ground
89. install & align door and quarter glass
90. install steering column
91. install carpeting
92. install seat belts
93. install quarter interior trim panels
94. install rear seat
95. install console (if applicable)
96. install front seat(s)
97. install trunk mat
98. install spare tire
99. install bumper jack

There are many different sequences of assembly possible.
Sometimes I’ll jump from one area to another depending on parts available or other road blocks.
There are cases where the wrong order will give you headaches though!
